Support for Career Transition
Are you considering a change in your career direction or preparing for retirement?
Major life transitions can trigger a loss of purpose and a questioning of one’s identity. This is an opportunity to take a step back and reflect on what makes sense to you: identify your values and needs, review your personal and professional background, and build a project aligned with who you are today.

The support I provide draws on an approach centered on the meaning of work and life, inspired by the work of Professor Jean-Luc Bernaud and his team (2019). Analysing the meaning of your life, your past and current actions, and your relationship to work and retirement is at the heart of the process. By reflecting on what matters to you, you will be able to make fulfilling career and life choices, whether during your professional life or as you approach retirement.

Who am I?
Nicole Antonietti
Born in London in 1966, I have been living in Geneva, Switzerland, since 1972. Bilingual in French and English, and passionate about languages, I also work in the field of translation.
After studying psychology and industrial psychology at the Universities of Geneva and Neuchâtel, I worked for several years in employment reintegration services for the long-term unemployed. Keen to update and expand my skills, I obtained a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Career Management from the University of Geneva in 2017.
Today, I work as an independent practitioner and support individuals in their professional transitions. During our sessions, we will explore your interests, skills, and values, taking into account your personal and professional background. We will assess your needs and develop meaningful projects. If necessary, a more in-depth assessment can be carried out using appropriate questionnaires.
What motivates me above all is the desire to help people rediscover meaning in their activities and thereby contribute to greater individual well-being.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy hiking in the mountains, reading, and travelling.

Preparation for Retirement
Retirement is approaching or has already begun... This stage of life can be experienced as a time of loss, during which what once seemed taken for granted may be called into question.
During one’s working life, many things are taken for granted: time management, social life, a sense of usefulness, status, and achievements. The transition to retirement can therefore disrupt one’s personal balance.
Over four or five sessions, based on your background, needs, and values, we will work together to rebuild or consolidate a new identity as a retiree. This includes identifying activities that are closely aligned with your aspirations. By restoring meaning to this new stage of life, a sense of fulfilment and coherence can now emerge.
Career Change
You are undergoing a career transition, whether this change of job was chosen or imposed, and you want to redefine your long-term goals.
Over the course of three or four sessions, I will support you in reflecting on your relationship with work and the meaning you give to it.
You will be able to take stock of how you view your professional activity, the values that are essential to you, and the importance you want work to have in your life. This process will help you define new priorities and open up perspectives aligned with your aspirations.
Testimonial

Nicole Antonietti offers guidance that has allowed me to approach the new life ahead of me with greater peace of mind. The method she uses allows you to address sensitive topics related to retirement without rushing and to listen to yourself at last. Nicole's discreet yet attentive presence makes the process possible. I recommend this experience to anyone who wishes to take stock of their past and prepare for the future in the best possible way. The process is demanding but deeply rewarding.
